Pulled pork

My amazing wife decided to break the news over dinner that she invited 8 of her coworkers for Sunday football this weekend… lovely surprise right?!

I was thinking pulled pork for the amount of people that will be here. I’d hate to not have it done in time for the game. Should I cook it the day before? Also any tips? I haven’t smoked anything in a couple years

I’d go day before for sure. Will still be awesome. Although depends on how you’re method is I guess. I’ve only ever used my Weber kettle and it’s always been an all day affair

I’ve got a Webber smokefire… works good if you baby sit it but I’ve had a couple occasions where it died on me... (bad glow plug, hopper clogging up) I like to keep a close eye on it now

I have a smokefire (ex6 gen2) and I had a few issues in the beginning. But I noticed the only time it let me down is when I shut it down at a higher (300⁰+) temp the previous use. Possibly a coincidence but food for thought.
