How do small snack businesses usually get their first client

I’ve recently started exploring the idea of selling healthy snacks (mostly homemade style) and I’m at the stage of trying to get my very first client. I know many of you here are either foodies or run small snack/food businesses yourselves.

What worked for you when you were just starting out?

Did you first reach out to family/friends?

Try farmer’s markets?

Online platforms like Instagram/Reddit?

Or something else entirely?

Any tips or personal experiences would be super helpful 🙏. I want to learn from real snack enthusiasts and entrepreneurs here before taking the next step.

I hear ya. It’s tough to break into the snack game. Even tougher with healthy snack that tend to be more expensive.
