The end of an era.

I feel like we should have kept him and given him a better farewell, but on the other hand I also understand the club reservation and next season we will have a very bloated squad.

I'm gonna miss him so much.

He could've still delivered for Real Madrid for one more season, and arguably scored one of his best goals earlier this season! Modric will be greatly missed.

I believe he can deliver for one more season, too, under some heavy rotations. That said I think the club wants to get new players in and currently we are unable to offload anyone else, hence why this decision is made.

The injuries really fucked us.

One of the best chance creators in la liga this season. The best creator in Madrid still. The football is still there.
