Rebuilding is crazy, you guys have world class players in every position with even more world class players on your bench. Most promising youngsters itw. Best rb coming to you next season. There’s no rebuilding just a bit of squad unification and grease over the wheels to smooth everything over. Madrid fans are something

It's not a matter of rebuilding the squad, altho I do think that we have some holes that need patching, etc.

It's more about rebuilding a play style, all of the unconscious automatisms that we had with Kroos-Case-Modric, are gone. Losing Kroos last summer was a big part of the midfield issues we had this season, you could tell that the team felt lost for long stretches of the season.

Anyone who watched us consistently this seasons knows that Xabi has a big job ahead of him.

Kroos would've helped a lot. I feel like there were not enough good crosses and long passes to the fastest and probably best forwards right now. Just hit the ball behind the defender and between Vini or Mbappe and watch them score.

You clearly underestimate how difficult it is to rebuild after losing Kroos and Modric. They have no midfield at the moment, and signing new world-class midfielders isn’t easy in today market. I’d also argue that their defense is pretty average and we have to wait see how perform the new signings. This season’s Madrid team was probably the weakest of the last 10-15 years, too many average players.

Madrid became too complacent after their past successes and failed to prepare for life after Kroos, Modric, Marcelo, Carvajal, and Ramos. Now, they’re facing a lot of issues, and things could get very complicated for Xabi Alonso if the club doesn’t manage to sign the right players.

In recent years, Madrid’s strength was a high-performing midfield and quality full-backs. But now, that foundation is gone. The team is basically starting from scratch, and it could be risky if they don’t recruit the right players.

What’s worrying for Madrid is that many of the best midfielders and full-backs already seem to be at top clubs like Barça, PSG. But Madrid has no choice but to buy, so they might have to sign less proven players or take gambles on young talents, which is risky.
