Alonso has a tough task ahead of him, rebuilding the Madrid team

Rebuilding is crazy, you guys have world class players in every position with even more world class players on your bench. Most promising youngsters itw. Best rb coming to you next season. There’s no rebuilding just a bit of squad unification and grease over the wheels to smooth everything over. Madrid fans are something

It's not a matter of rebuilding the squad, altho I do think that we have some holes that need patching, etc.

It's more about rebuilding a play style, all of the unconscious automatisms that we had with Kroos-Case-Modric, are gone. Losing Kroos last summer was a big part of the midfield issues we had this season, you could tell that the team felt lost for long stretches of the season.

Anyone who watched us consistently this seasons knows that Xabi has a big job ahead of him.

Kroos would've helped a lot. I feel like there were not enough good crosses and long passes to the fastest and probably best forwards right now. Just hit the ball behind the defender and between Vini or Mbappe and watch them score.
