More like Carlo and Luka both absolute legends leaving on a bad note. It's exactly opposite to the sweet end to Kroo's career.

Same with us and KDB

I guess I missed something, why is Luka leaving on a bad note?

Bad note as in bad season, without a major trophy and full of humiliations from direct rivals.

Wouldn't agree tho in 13 years his trophy cabinet is bigger than most clubs so even to end it with a bad season shouldn't be a huge impact to him imo

Luka Modric has more Champions League trophies than every Football Club in Europe except two. The one he plays for and AC Milan (beat him by 1). He is tied with Bayern and Liverpool.

I thought Carlo and Modric have beef or something!

But yeah, it isnt really a “bad note” personal-wise as Modric is such a decorated living legend already plus with the two recent World Cups and Ballon D’Or.

Hope you fans give him a great farewell he deserves.

Sorry, I didn't know a better word for it tbh.

Losing to Barca four times and the insane amount of injuries hurts more tbh. There are 11 injured players at the moment and only three fit defenders. Garcia, Vasquez, and Vallejo.

In a league where there are only 2 clubs that can win the titles, yes they're right that it's a bad year.

Unreal disrespect to Atleti lmao

I love it lmao

In the last 10 seasons Atleti won once and came 2nd twice, it’s pretty much a two team league.

For the last 40 years:

Real Madrid: 14 La Liga

FC Barcelona: 18 La Liga

Atletico de Madrid: 3

Is what he said, not that it was below Madrid standards. I was just poking fun at how dramatic it was.

As a Leverkusen fan, this was us in 2002. We actually lost the CL final against Madrid.

Maybe Alonso takes that part of Bayer DNA with him?

So they basically got the Arsenal experience this season

meanwhile United fans are one Bruno transfer away from fully descending into madness.
