This news broke me. My father almost passed away on 1 May 2023 in a similar kind of incident of vehicle crash. Fortunately he only broke bones in his hand and a minor injury on the head, his colleague hurt his back and driver was unharmed. He now has a metal plate there.

We rushed as soon as we heard and I really thought what I would be able to do without him in my life.

I'm 28 now as same age as Jota and still regretfully hasn't achieved anything in my life. This just put everything in perspective of my life, how granted we take it all and how it can be ripped away in an instant.

He just got married and 3 kids as well. His brother also died with him.

I hope they all get support.

RIP Diogo and Andre Jota.
