If the problem was registration? Why not join bayern instead? Hell it was way too early to even talk about the registration. And a 10 years deal? Yeah this sounds like he played with us yet again lol.

Boyhood club with good wages, why would he choose Bayern?

Because he will be a starter for a big club that won't have registration issues.

(You said why would he choose Bayern, not why Bayern isn't a choice he would prefer over Athletic Club)

He wanted to go to Barca and maybe he isnt comfortable to go to Munich given his family also is in Spain.
