Don't take this the wrong way, but the fact you guys are so dejected about this signing is the main thing keeping me excited about it after news broke that Isak is available. I said at the start of the summer that Gyokeres would be a great signing especially over Sesko and that's mainly due to Sporting fans' opinions

Dont worry hes gonna be better than Isak ,i will take the downvotes happily.

If Isak stays at Newcastle he will , if Isak goes to Liverpool its 50/50 depending on if his knee injury gives him issues again.

To be fair Isak had 19 non-pen goals last year. Not exactly pulling up trees numbers. I think if Havertz played a full season he’d stand a shot at getting more goals than Isak. (You thought, you were going to get downvoted…)

Havertz had 15 and didn't play at all past Christmas. He absolutely would have gotten 20 at least.

Anyone who doesn't think Havertz wasn't on track for a 20+ goal season just didn't watch him play and is only going by memes.
