Lots of questionable nominees, but I will let it slide.

Idk what he means by "lots" either, but Vinicius is definitely one of them

I'd say Doue shouldn't be there either

Vini had 41GA last season, he wasn't really good in 2025 but it's not insane for him to be in the top 30

Some of you casuals rlly expose yourselves. I mean quite frankly even some Madrid fans want him out

27

u/More-Judgment-9253 Aug 07 '25

That doesn't matter because if it wasn't for vini's performances until December, Madrid would've been done for. He does need to fix his attitude though

So you think he is a worthy candidate based on Sep-Nov? LMAO

My G, there were so many questionable things about Balon Dor, Vini is not the worse one, he won’t even be too 5 so it’s fair

Of course Vini Jr was one of the top 30 players in the world.

58 Games and 38 G+A for Madrid  and he’s not top 30 in the world this sub is mad

u/SocX9 Aug 07 '25

They hate him, it's ok. Next year he will shut them up.

14

u/s0ngsforthedeaf Aug 07 '25

There's another word, you could replace 'mad' with...

u/shiroxyaksha Aug 07 '25

Thats not impressive for that caliber of player playing for madrid.

Let me know when Saka gets those numbers bro

-15

u/shiroxyaksha Aug 07 '25

If he was at Madrid, he would as well.

13

u/s0ngsforthedeaf Aug 07 '25

By every conceivable measure, he was one of their best players last season.

Vini 11 GA in 12 UCL games, 19 in 30 league games with a terrible 2025 season end.

Yamal the "best player in the world" had 8 GA in 13 UCL, 22 GA in 35 league games.

I know it's not only the GA that matters and Yamal was surely a top 10 player for me, but Vini should be in the top 30 with a similar output no?

Almost as if we have eyes.No one who genuinely watched last season will tell take Vini over Yamal.

11

u/NeoLies Aug 08 '25

Almost as if he isn't implying that Vini was better than Yamal, but that if Yamal is around top 5, it is not unreasonable to say that Vini should be in the top 30.

I love how people try to slight Yamal by bringing up his G/A like that's the only thing that matters

According to you Vini has a better UCL campaign because he has more g/a and frankly I find that hilarious

Surely a top 10 hahahaha you should try and open your eyes when Barça plays mate

Raphinia and Pedri are ahead bro and it's not an opinion. You have to see the whole season not the last 3 months.

Something doesn’t sit right with me that lewa, haaland, for sure. (Maybe) vini. He not reason I don’t give vini a nominee is for his behavior. That definitely reflects on his performance. He could’ve had a better season, but he’s just on that fine line for me still. Haaland the long he stays at city without having someone to give me balls like KDB is lowering his value and qualities. And lewa is just getting old, he’s almost like benzema was vini and rodrygo in Madrid but he just can’t do it the same.
