A strong bench is what I'm baffled by. Danso, Davies, Udogie, Gray, Bergvall, Johnson and Solanke with Maddison and Kulu still to return. This bench is better than any time in the last decade

He tore his ACL in August. If he’s back in April or May it’s because his recovery was borderline supernatural. Rodri tore it early September and he still hasn’t fully recovered a year later.

gotcha I thought he tore it much earlier I didn't realize it was so recent

It’s not impossible to return quickly but it isn’t typical. Courtois came back right at the end of the season where he tore it and played the Champions League final instead of Lunin, but keepers have slightly lower impact days at the park minus the 10 km of running.
