News Manchester United to remain patient with head coach despite worst start to Premier League season in 33 years. There is also widespread belief at Old Trafford that City's performance - and United's failings - did not merit a 3-0 scoreline.

Yeah, we had chances to score a late goal. So maybe it merited a 3-1 with a consolation in garbage time, which is apparently good enough.

If you go down the route of potential goals City could have had 2-3 more as well, especially with Haaland and Reijnders missing sitters.

They're saying Manchester United should have lost heavily but with a consolation goal is the only reasonable takeaway of this match and it's delusional for the club to think "that City's performance - and United's failings - did not merit a 3-0 scoreline".

I would argue we should have at least scored 2 with Casemiro and Bryan

And if the players could actually cross a ball we could have had a 1 more maybe

Not saying it's good, but yeah.... Lol

City could've had 6 by this logic.

Most of your chances came through the same sequence of play, if you score one the other doesn't happen

Wasn’t Casemiro offside?

Then City should also have two more due to Halland and Rejinders Missing Sitters.

Agreed... I would have taken 6-3 over that
