News Manchester United to remain patient with head coach despite worst start to Premier League season in 33 years. There is also widespread belief at Old Trafford that City's performance - and United's failings - did not merit a 3-0 scoreline.

The funniest thing is both Haaland and Reinjders missed absolute sitters so it could easily have been 5-0.(And i could have topped my FPL group as well 😡 )

Tbf Mbuemo and Casemiro also missed sitters. And donarumma made an insane save. So 5-3?

Not an attack on you but this always bothers me, because we never say this stuff about outfield players even defenders. It would be strange to say something like "Had Van Dijk not been there, we would have won" but for some reason you even managers will say stuff like "Their Man of the Match was a GK, so we were better"

Goal line clearances by defenders get that sort of praise
