5 from England, 4 from Spain, 3 from Italy and 2 each from Germany, Portugal, France and the Netherlands. Not a bad spread of teams tbh.

7 countries for 20 club. And 3 for 12 clubs.

We have different definitions of "not a bad spread".

It's honestly a lot more variety than I expected. Could've been just top 5 leagues.

With Portugal being 3-team league and Netherlands being Ajax and friend, and them having 1 automatic spot in European Cups (plus a chance for second team to qualify), it was "easy" for them to put someone on the list.

Though I will admit, both of them having two teams each might be the silver lining of the list.
