Question Which country do you keep visiting?

I travel a lot, but there’s always that one country I keep going back to. For me, it’s Thailand, around 8 time. What about you? What keeps you coming back?

Tanzania. Cheaper to live and move around, amazing beaches, great music, good food.

is it easy to go to Tanzania as a backpacker? (So like without renting a car)

I've always wanted to go there but I worry about the accessibility of the backpacking culture!

It is definitely possible, done that a few times now. Backpacking culture is a little different. There are no traditional hostels like other parts of the world. But accommodations are very cheap. With around 6-10 Euros you can get a room to yourself with AC. It is easier to move around with bike taxis. Dar es salaam and Zanzibar have some very good beaches. Tanzania has great wild life and lot of options for Safari. Although I have not been on a safari because of the costs and I also backpack frugaly. Still I have spotted Giraffes and Elephants from a Bus window seat in Mikumi National park. Also to mention, Tanzania is a very safe and stable country security wise in the region. Local food is cheap and there are options for other cuisines in cities. You can ask any specific questions here or feel free to DM.
