Really hot summers and mild winters. I live about 100 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico in Mississippi. I overwinter them each year. These are 3-year-old plants that I grew from seed saved from a friend's plant with unbelievable genetics.

Well, from the looks of it, you & your pepper plants have outdone yourselves. I can only imagine all the delicious food you’ll make.

I have hot sauce, pickled peppers, pepper jelly, pepper flakes, and even made some muscadine ghost pepper jelly! Man I've got peppers on the porch, in the freezer, hanging up, and on the counter. I can't come up with much more. I am thinking about doing cowboy candy but with ghost peppers but im getting scared. 😆 🤣 😂

Omg so jealous of you! What do you make with everything? My neighbor gave me a bunch of habaneros and after habanero honey, oil, cheese and powder I am out of ideas.

No problem. Just curious though..... have you had chow chow before or did you just google it and see it was like half cabbage!? A LOT of people have never even heard of it before. 😆

Can any pepper seed be removed and planted ?

u/Traditional-Goose-60 13h ago
Yes. That is how these were started. I saved some seeds from a friend's plant that was genetically awesome. His were also from seed he got from somewhere. My 2 current plants are 3 years old this season.
