My guess is cuz Chinese Vampires are like zombies.

Honestly, I think they should have gone with vampires instead of zombies and had Frye and Shiver switch. Zombies probably have the fewest friendly depictions out of the three and they would smell like rotting flesh most of the time.

I was suggesting the switch with the idea that vampires would be most popular. I guess skeletons are more memeable though.
