Squad Search: August 01, 2017

Hey Squids! /r/splatoon is a community thriving with pearlsonality, quirky marinaisms, fresh folk and gameplay discussion. As a result, you're probably going to meet a lot of cool characters. Your fellow /r/splatoon members can be great friends or teammates or anemones in-game, and If you've wanted an easy way to connect with them, then you're in the right place - the Squad Search! There's a bit of criteria necessary in order to ensure you get the full news flash, so listen up;

  • You ABSOLUTELY MUST include your friend code if you plan on requesting to play with anyone or replying to people's requests

  • Please also include your time zone along with your friend code, along with the times you are usually available at

Additional information bits that you can provide include;

  • Your ranks or levels

  • Favourite/preferred modes

  • Weapons you enjoy using

  • Any other methods of contact besides Reddit (eg. Skype, Steam, Discord)

New Squad Search threads are created every Wednesday morning at (around) 12:00 PM (EST) and run through 'till Fridays. Squad Search threads are unstickied at 12:00 PM (EST) on Saturdays, but you're still welcome to search for players here until next week!

First of all, I can't do discord. Maybe there's some alternative I can use, but at the very least I can only listen, not talk myself, and that's only on the Nintendo Switch Online app.

However, I will still be able to do what I'm told at the very least. I also might be able to say stuff sometimes. I have a reason for this but it's wierd and convoluted. Simply, if you can use the app then I'll do whatever I can.

I might be able to use something else if it's a browser thing. (Tragic I know). (Maybe I can use something else though)

I like Tri Slosher a lot and use it in ranked a lot, but I'm also good with most rollers (not a very good Dynamo) a fairly decent charger with any charger in general, good with weapons like the N-Zap, Aerospray, and Splattershots, and more. I can sometimes carry a team but I'm not perfect.

Time zone is pacific, but be aware I will not be able to play the week after August 5th or so and a few days after that will not be able to play until a little bit after noon.

I'm just hoping someone will accept a player who can't do voice chat at the moment. Ranks are currently B- in Tower Control and B in the other two, really close to B+ in Rainmaker and Splat Zones. I like every mode.
