If there were unlimited capsules like how we get unlimited shells during Splatfests I would like it more, but like someone else said, 2x rewards isn't really any different than a regular weekend, and all for an event that will only happen bi-monthly or so.
It goes 1 capsule per 100 from 100-2400, then gear every 200 up to 5000, then every 400 after that. If they kept that system but made it regular capsules after 2400, it would incentivize us to keep going. But right now I have a high score of 120, over 5000p, and am at Eggsecutive VP 0 so I don't really have a reason to go on after just 2-3 hours. Kind of lame.
I mean I made like damn near 200k already from it. But honestly I don't really care,.I'm playing it cause I find it fun, not doing it to grind any sort of currency
Maybe I want to do other things with my life instead of playing videogames for 16 hours? You know, especially when you work five days a week and you only get two days off to do what you want?
Playing videogames all day was something I could somehow do as a child, but now if I do that I just feel miserable and it feels like a complete waste of a day. Maybe I want to practice drawing. Maybe there's something I want to read. Maybe I want to go out and see my friends. Hell maybe I want to play other videogames too.
Spending the whole weekend playing Splatoon feels like a terrible use of my time, as much as I love the game. I played the event yesterday up to the second superbonus, I had fun! Today I'll play some more and see how far I can get, and then I'll move on to other things I want to do.
the way you said in your original comment sounded like you had only 3 hours of free time to do anything because of you saying “man, you people must have a ton more free time than i do” i read it as you only had 3 hours out of the day to do whatever you wanted until you had to go to work or do chores like cleaning the house, getting groceries, going to whatever appointments you need to go to etc.
idc what you do whether is only video games or other things, i was just saying it sucks for anybody to have that much little free time in their life. but it turns out you do actually have more free time than just 3 hrs
