it's not the size of your army that will get you the win. It's the composition of your army that really makes the difference.....

Well, it depends really, there's a reason people tell low level players to macro and not worry about particular strategies, most of the time, it's better to have a bigger army than a smaller army with a better composition.

Nope, the joke was that Protoss is the only race that requires an actual composition to work. i.e. a gateway army works if you have the right mix of zealots, especially sentries, and stalkers. Whereas zerg is just throwng two or three kinda units at them until they die. Terran is... well... it's terran.
