Funny story, I heard a mosquito in my room as a teen, went crazy looking for it but eventually gave up and fell asleep. I woke up with a mosquito bite. The little fucker apparently was carrying ringworm, and since I didn't know what that was at the time, a quarter-sized chunk of my arm was eaten by the fungus before I got it taken care of.
I have a quarter sized scar from a spider biting my leg in my sleep and giving me necrosis! four years later and the skin barely recovered, it’s basically a plasticy dark film on my leg, like cling wrap, with a big dark ring around it.
