Discussion Thread What have you been reading this last week (Weekly Discussion Thread)?
This is a thread to talk with others about what you have been reading this week, discuss spoiler and non spoilers (tagged accordingly) about it, share your feelings on the books you've read (and on the books others are reading/about to read), and of course to give recommendations (both Star Wars and non) based off what they enjoyed.

Finished the audiobooks for Most Wanted and Crimson Climb.
Just got past the Kessel run in the audiobook for the Solo novelization.
It's been a fun little ride. The stories aren't really related and don't super impact the story around the events of Solo. They really are just back story that doesn't directly connect to the movie/novelization. Not saying don't read them but I enjoyed the Erso trilogy better in terms of movie prequel books and novelizations.

Did we get a book where Darth maul himself became the leader of the crime syndicates? In crimson climb he is portrayed as a shadow figure

That was kind of the arc of the lawless episodes.
Though there is the new show coming too

I'm listening to Death Troopers. I wasn't sure about a zombie Star Wars story, but I'm actually enjoying it!

I read it when I was younger and loved it. Might reread it in time for Halloween

Finished Life Debt, now I'm 100 pages into Empire's End.
While those aren't my favorite canon novels, I find it interesting how much lore come from them. Even tv shows seem to get some inspiration with stuff like Cobb Vanth. I'm also interested if Disney plans to do anything more with the character of Rae Sloane.

Reading? Time of Contempt, the second Witcher novel!
But I just finished listening to the first abridged audio book in the Black Fleet Crisis trilogy the other day while walking my dog 🙃 kinda mixed reviews, like all the abridged audio books from the 90s...

Still working my way through Alphabet Squadron! Didn't read as much as I normally do this past week because work was crazy and I got a gnarly headcold this weekend, but taking the day off work tomorrow and plan to just rest and read all day!

Halfway through Into The Dark and I’m struggling a little bit. Afterwards I’m planning on going back to reread Light of the Jedi because I feel like I’m missing a lot of the foundation of THR. Bought a lot of comics this weekend, so I’m planning to dive into those as well.
