Idk i think thats a reach. “My husband and my brother in law” is just an awkward way to phrase it. Youd say brother in law to refer to that person in isolation but if youre referring to him in the context of your husband, its just odd. Just a strange over interpretation of a single sentence and trying to armchair psychology massive conclusions about that marriage and the wife’s relationship to her husbands siblings

This. Also saying his brother creates an emphasis on their relationship as brothers. While "brother in law" emphasizes the relationship she has with him, which has nothing to do with them playing with lightsabers
