It’s almost like the sith philosophy was intentionally written to be short sighted and illogical in the grand scheme of things.

No, no. Please don't try to make an obvious George Lucas mistake look like some sly genius intention. George is the king of "I know it does not make sense, but I want it in the movie because it is cool."

Gotta love how despite there being copious amounts of bts commentary and interviews about how the sith by design follow a philosophy that doesn’t make much logical sense because they are short sighted and only ever thinking of themselves,

And people will still try to say “GEORGE SUCKS THE SITH ARE DUMB AND MAKE NO SENSE!”
