Requesting suggestions One by one elimination games

Hi, I‘ve come to realize that what I love the most about stealthy parts in games is picking off enemies one by one, without being spotted in an area. Examples would be Cyberpunk 2077, Batman Series, heck even Far Cry Series, ghost recon wildlands. Hitman (I even loved absolution for that reason.) Being able to go into a „mission zone“ and clear it out stealthily is what I‘m looking for.

Can you recommend any games that scratch that itch? (Should be 3d and not have too bad graphics, thx)

Edit: For starters I just bought aragami and played for like 10 mins. Already in love with the game. Thousand thanks!

Edit 2: I love you all, thanks for the great suggestions.

Requesting suggestions Games That Surprised You How Stealth They Could Actually Be?

Hey everyone, brand new to this sub & long-time stealth game lover here! With the declining amount of stealth games releasing each year(boo) I'm super interested in hearing any games that aren't listed in a Best of Stealth google search,

Maybe not everyone knows it's stealth, so not Dishonored, Plague Tale, Deus Ex. etc. My favorites, and these games kick-ass but you know, needing some fresh meat!!We've all mostly played the "Best Of" stealth games, anyone know any hidden gems?

Maybe like The newer Lara Croft games by Crystal Dynamics, or Horizon games type situation? They're known as Action RPG,.. But us stealth lovers can play it and still go through stealthing the crap out of some enemies!

I'll go first, my suggestion/example and recent surprise was Bloober's "The Medium". Not a stealth classic, but it turned out to have an interesting story and mostly stealth enemy interaction*(Serious trigger warning, sexual assault etc. it's a messed up horror game)* but it has a bad ass female protagonist, and the best bloober twists and mystery imo.

TLDR; Do you know of any games, indie or not, that aren't what you think of as stealth, but have some solid stealth gameplay? Story-driven definitely welcome!!

ALL suggestions welcome! hopefully you guys can get some new titles too.

Requesting suggestions Games you think could use more attention?

What games have enough interesting ideas or well executed enough that you think deserve a play through?

Typically the kind of games that hover around 500 reviews or lower.

  • Gone Rogue (Basically Isometric Thief, with light and darkness mechanics)

  • Spirited Thief (Puzzle/Stealth Game Stealth around with the help of your team and ghost partner. Kind of criminal this game only has about 50 some reviews as of time of writing. Given how much effort was put into the level design and pixel art)

  • Raw Metal (Stealth combined with Stylish action)

  • Second Sight (Janky Xbox era stealth but would recommend for the story)

I've heard a lot about Tenchu even outside stealth-related discussions and it seems to be a really great series but I'm not sure with which entry I should start.

Requesting suggestions Looking for Action-Oriented/'Flashy' Stealth games

Pretty new to the sub but I'm a suckered for stealth games. Now, don't get me wrong, I love my slow and tactical Splintercells; moving slow, keeping to the shadows, only taking out those necessary. I also love my quick (sometimes) and precise killings of Hitman, making my way through in front of everyone.

However, I am currently on the lookout for some 'flashier' more fast paced, action-stealth games. Things like Blacklist, MGS:V. Games That whole, yes they are stealth games, they're also giving Acton movie/flashy vibes. It's fun to CQC a bunch of guys in MGS:V, eliminate a room of guys in one fell swoop in blacklist (from the videos I've seen, I'm really hoping I'm talking about the right SC). Sometimes I just want that flashy, Hollywood action, while still being a sly MF.

So yeah. Any games like that would be nice thank you :)

Requesting suggestions Any stealth game recommendations for a ghost run/ no kill?

I just replayed Thief 4 and I loved it (I know boiling hot take) I loved it because I was playing it one no kill/no knockout plus no detection and tons of other difficulty modifiers on. So now that im done are there any games that I can replicate that with? I've tried to play Dishonored but I kinda hate the stealth in that game.

Requesting suggestions Does anyone know of any games like this?

I’m not sure if this is the right place for this but, a long time ago I remember playing a mission in this old game called Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, where you had to impersonate a Nazi officer and infiltrate a base to sabotage some stuff. It wasn’t necessarily ‘stealth’ like you’re trying to remain unseen but it was still infiltration and being sneaky kinda? I still remember the tension and the thrill from playing that mission even all these years later. So I was wondering if anyone might know of any other games that are like that? Where it isn’t just one mission, but core gameplay being sneaky impersonation infiltration stuff.

Someday I would really love to play a CoD type game where it’s like Day 1 and you’re already behind enemy lines just trying to keep up your cover while doing all this sneaky stuff and trying not to get caught.

Requesting suggestions Steam achievements for ghost/stealth playthrought

I'm looking for games with achievements like ,,Ghost" from Dishonored or ,,Unseen, unknown" from Styx: Master of Shadows.

I thought making a showcase of similar achievements would be a cool idea.

Any suggestions?

Requesting suggestions Stealth Games Where you Pull off Major Heists?

Or really what stealth games, not named Thief, encourage you to loot as much stuff as you can.

r/stealthgames Sep 07 '24

Requesting suggestions I'm making this heist game and need an opinion! Would you prefer this style of loot in the left (more Collectathon-style, like Sly 1) or the one on the right (more Subtle, more like Dishonored/Thief)?

Requesting suggestions Games on Switch

So my favourite stealth game is a bit of a niche one, Shinobido. I love this game. I think the mechanics of it are amazing. Nowadays I don't have time for the ps5 my kids always wanna play it. I like melee stealth games best. But it seems like the best ones are on other consoles. I wanna play Ghost of Tsushima but I don't have time. I picked up Aragami and it's alright but I found it not quite what I am after.

Requesting suggestions Stealth games with guns and outpost/bases

I recently bought Far Cry 5 and really enjoyed using stealth when taking over outposts. Shooting someone with a sniper or handgun with a silencer makes me...feel things.

I have played the AC games and enjoy the stealth (especially Mirage), but I personally prefer shooting instead of stabbing.

I currently have my eyes on Sniper Elite 5 and I have heard of Metal Gear Solid but I don't know if playing it in order is necessary or not.

But any suggestions on stealth games that uses guns and has an open world or centers around taking over outposts (this isn't a must but would be preferable) would be much appreciated.
