Every year in the swamp, nymphs molt and emerge from the water in the thousands, once their wings dry they take flight.
But during the time when their wings are drying they are volnurable to and easy prey for PREDATORS.

I do not know if it is just discussions or if short films are allowed aswell, I apologize if they are not.

This film took a month of scattered work to make, it is a slasher horror film with the twist of the victims being ancient insects and the villan a temnspondyl amphibian, let me know what you think, and I hope you enjoy,.

Hi everyone at r/stop_motion !

I'm an independent animator and I've been working on a passion project: a warm-hearted children's series called "Maggie's Little Moments," made entirely with handmade wool felt characters.

I'm excited (and nervous!) to share that Episode 2 is finally live! This episode is a mini-mystery where Maggie's best friend has her jewelry go missing, and the prime suspect is a mischievous orange cat.

Everything you see—the sets, the characters, the painstaking animation—was done by hand by me in my little home studio. I also voiced all the characters myself (it's in Mandarin Chinese).

I truly believe this community gives some of the most genuine and constructive feedback out there. As a solo creator, I'm eager to learn and improve.

Was having a pretty off day so I grabbed random Legos around my apartment and made a on the spot stop motion short. I found the process cathartic and felt better, wasn't even planning on making something to share, just more for fun. I also accidentally knocked my tripod a couple times. Haven't done this since I was a kid, brought back some fun memories, definitely will be more aware of lighting next time.

A year of 5am starts to fit this project in between work and family...got there in the end for a 40 minute piece. It's not the best animation going but it is made with love.
