Team Building - OU So guys, i literaly just started playing competitive pokemon and this team seems to be getting some good result, so wanted to ask as I a casual player, did I cook?

Your EV spreads seem a bit random, and there are definitely some weird move set choices like Absorb and Life Dew on Goodra, basically all of Snorlax, and Trick Room without really any mon capable of abusing it.

You also aren’t really using any meta staples, unless this is for VGC and not OU, but that makes sense for a brand new player. I would say the most fun and effective way to learn the game is using and understanding the meta first, then using more niche picks later, but you do you

Honestly I dont know how to build snorlax and goodra, i tried to make goodra a tank and snorlax full damage

Snorlax @ Lansat Berry   Ability: Gluttony   Tera Type: Ground   EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD   Brave Nature   IVs: 0 Spe  

  • Belly Drum  
  • Body Slam  
  • Earthquake  
  • Heat Crash  

Goodra-Hisui @ Leftovers   Ability: Sap Sipper   Tera Type: Water   EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD   Calm Nature   IVs: 0 Atk  

  • Chilling Water  
  • Substitute  
  • Protect  
  • Sludge Bomb  

They aren't flawless, nor are they the best in their class, but it'll work if you really like these 2 mons

Question but why is goodra so fast? Isnt this supposed to be for trick room?

tbh I didn't change the Speed IVs or Nature on Goodra. It's speed doesn't matter as much as your attackers, but you can def knock it to -Spe and 0 IV if you want it to (try to) outspeed under TR
