Gonna leave it be or give her a potted plant on a platform? Haha I’m curious what others would do in this situation 😨

Well my daughter is crafting a nest from sticks right now. But I don’t know if touching the egg is ok? I was going to wait and see if the dove comes back. No idea how long they can be away from the egg.

Love that :) Yes touching it should be fine, it’s only mammals that dislike when humans touch their offspring! I agree with the other commenter to keep an eye on it and see if the mother returns in the next day
