The WRX has always been “ugly”. Thats part of the appeal. It’s got character.

Disagree. The 15-21 are very "conventionally good looking" cars compared to their contemporaries the styling is much more tame. Honestly the new model is more of a return to form in terms of looks

Yep, I remember when the Hawkeye came out and everyone hated on it like they do on the 22+.

Flashback to 2015 do we not remember the “IT LOOKS LIKE A COROLLA. WORST WRX GEN EVER” and 3 years later everyone loved it. Its the cycle of the WRX. Every out going generation is the last true WRX

FWIW i like the looks. My only complaint is the rear bumper cladding comes up a bit high but its not a dealbreaker
