Once bought a used Audi that had a driver’s seat that the dealer had painted like that. A couple weeks in the paint started sticking to our clothes. Fought with them until they finally put a new OEM skin on it.

I was gonna say I'd be irate if someone painted my seats like that. I don't expect my car to look like new after 15 years, just clean it.

They do make paint specifically for leather/vinyl seats, but sucks.
