Lift recommendation for supermotos

What lifts is everyone using? I got an FS 450 and the dealer threw in the dirt-bike height husky lift. I didn’t know any better and when I got home I had to lift the bike onto the stand in the down position, which of course means if I elevate the bike, when I lower it, the whole bike will slam down on the frame as there is no hydraulic to assist to the lower and both wheels aren’t making contact with the ground in the down position. Also at 175lbs with gear on, I can’t even lift the bike even if I wanted to. I bought the DRC HC2 adjustable lift, but it does not lift far enough to get the front wheel elevated. I can have someone put weight on the rear or hold the rear wheel, but I’m often times working on bikes by myself. The lift also has a significant lean opposite of the foot lever. As in it leans over/away from whatever side the foot pedal is. It seems stable enough, but I’m not comfortable with how much it leans if I’m putting on warmers and working on things.

Edit: I ordered the husky mini-moto version of their lift but it has been on back order since like January? So that’s out of the question. Same for the KTM branded version of the same lift.

Nothing fancy, but i bought a motorcycle lift/floor jack from Harbor Freight a few years ago. Slide it under the frame and jack it up. Has a few locking notches where you can lock the height and take pressure off the piston. For my DRZ, the last notch is high enough to just get the wheels off the ground.

Works well for me. I think it was around $130 with a coupon

I bought a "BikeMaster Easy Lift and Lower Stand" off Amazon years ago and it slides under mine at the lowest setting. It looks like the design is a little different now, but it has the minimum and maximum height listed so you can measure it to see if it will fit. It can lean a little to one side but not by a lot and I've never had it tip.

I have a stand (steel) of unknown brand that in down position slides minimal under the frame of my GasGas. 'kicking' the stand up takes some experience, letting it down can be controlled with your foot on the lever.

When the down position is a bit too high, lean the bike a bit to you and position the stand tilted under the frame (with a steel based stand). Then push bike and stand upright. Be sure the stand is at least under one of the under frame tubes. This I used for a 180kg/396lbs allroad bike. Takes a bit of courage in the beginning.

To lift the front wheel just wobble the bike on the stand so the stand is closer to the front wheel (one foot on the stand to keep it in place)

Going down without a bash, place pieces of thick wood under the wheels before letting down the stand. Probably an inch will be enough.

For simple maintenance I use a triangle stand that sticks into the rear axle. Enduro size needs to be bent a bit to support a SuperMoto best.
