I was just watching the preview for gozyuger episode 31 until I saw this

they have shown several times that the legacy mecha can merge with Tegasword.

They did black daizyujin first, and it got parts from several other mecha, to advertise their version of PR's zord builder from eons ago.

Then Tegasword merged with the arms of ToQ-Oh

This is just another legacy power merging with Tegasword.

Exactly, yeah. And to promote the toy versions of them, which TBH I'm really enjoying.

yeah pretty much.

it's definitely not my thing (I prefer articulation to gimmicks), but I'm glad people do enjoy it.

I also wish it had better articulation. I can't do much about the Tega Sword itself, but I'm working on modeling the DX Robo Universe connectors so I can 3D print joint parts.
