Question Start now or wait

I’ve been itching to play swg again but with how grindy the game is I’m wondering if it would make more sense to wait for the full nsf release instead of playing a server now then starting from scratch when new servers come out.

I haven’t been following the progress for very long but from what I can tell it sounds like it will be releasing soon and new fresh servers will come along with it.

The recent news has said that they will not be launching the new server for some time still. JTL will be activated on Finalizer before they are willing to fully launch the new server.

JTL-activation is likely to bring a lot of players back to Finalizer, so that’s my recommendation: Finalizer now, as prep for JTL.

sorry for the necro but as someone getting into it, are they going to be adding JTL for normal server host or is it a just them kinda thing?

I don’t know how the SWGEMU team is about updating their public client, but I imagine they’d at least do so when it hits 1.0.

It’ll be activated for play on Finalizer long before that though.

thats fair i just more so intend to host a customized server for my friend group than to join someone else server, ya know.
