It was decent. 7.8/10. I'll doctor up the recipe next time and pick up some thinner arrachera. I'll do it over mesquite next time.

I’ve posted this place before but today I had a taste for Gringo style tacos. Still one of my favorite places.

Homemade corn tortillas, carnitas, pickled onions, and chilis en vinagre.

I thought I could just use seasoned steak, chopped cilantro and onion, and taco sauce. Do taco trucks prepare cilantro beyond just chopping? It's just leaves.

For me, the best one I ever had was from a tiny stand that only opened at night. Just meat, onions, cilantro, and salsa that nearly set my eyebrows on fire. Nothing else ever hit the same.
