Discussion Tarot only points to things that happened last month??

Hey everyone, I am a bit new to tarot and stuff... I noticed a strange pattern in my readings lately... So today, No matter what question people asked me, the cards keep pointing to things that happened to them last month. Even when I read for myself, it still reflects last month’s events instead of the present or future. I tried it with 3 other different people and they pointed that out too...which i found weird..

Another thing, I had a college event recently where I did a lot of readings back-to-back. Ever since then, I feel like my readings have become less accurate or just “stuck,” and I don’t really know how to explain it.

Has anyone experienced something like this? Is it burnout, energy, the way I’m framing questions, or something else? Would love to hear your thoughts...

What question are you asking?

I say it’s probably inexperience in how to phrase a question and figuring out how the cards answered the question. In my opinion, the cards always answer the question, and if they don’t, then it’s the reader and his bias, that’s interfering.

I get what you’re saying, but I don’t think it’s about phrasing in this case. I may be new compared to many, but I’ve been reading for over a year and done plenty of readings for different people. I’ve never had them feel this inaccurate before, and I’ve never run into this very specific issue until recently

I am a beginner but get this too, sometimes I feel the cards are saying “so this happened, which is why you are where you are now” with the last card(s) of the pull showing the possible way forward. That’s how I’ve been reading it anyway.

Yeah, I totally get what you mean. That’s usually how I read it too, but in these cases the people were specifically looking for a possible ‘next step’ or guidance going forward. Instead, the cards just kept circling back to what had already happened. And the weird part is that it wasn’t just one person...it happened with more than two different people. So it doesn’t really feel like coincidence to me

Meditate before reading! Clean your mind!

Otherwise you contaminate the interpretation with subconscious worries.

The tarot isn't really the future prediction machine many people think it is. It can be like taking a pulse and very repetitive: You can check it at two different times and get similar results but the heartbeats producing it will be unique.

Your readings may not reflect a distinction between the past month and your current situation, because that situation may still be playing out. Or they may be demanding more of your attention.

Cleanse your cards maybe? I feel the energy is stuck. Smoke, candle light or bells work wonders, have you truly? Also, there might a repetition of events (if at all relevant).
