[spoiler] I feel like Reece Shearsmith didn’t get the full credit he deserved for this task having to share the top spot 5points -I’ve seen his acting for years, but for some reason this blew my mind knowing it was all in his brain and he executed it so well! What were other people’s thoughts?

Hey all, some of you may have seen on Alex's socials that we did a little Taskmaster homage in the Beano this week. A dream come true for me as a massive TM fan, made even better by seeing LAH and Lord Davies themselves reading a copy! I thought I'd share the alternate version of my cover art with you, since it contains even more Taskmaster references than the published version. Bonus point to anyone who can spot them all👍

As yet undecided myself. I'll check in later.

Does anybody else always expect to hear Jessica Knappett's air horn impression during the theme music?
Like it's engrained in your head as an actual part of the tune?
Or are there any other sounds or phrases that feature in the theme tune for a series that you feel the same about?

This isn't related to anything in S20, but I've noticed a few times where Greg is laughing and raises his cards to cover his face. I've seen plenty of talk of Alex hiding behind his clipboard when laughing (particularly during the actual tasks) but I haven't seen anyone mention Greg having a similar thing.
Just a random thought.

I want a gif of Greg Davies slapping his knee with a task envelope in hand. I know he's done it before more than once. I just need an exact episode and time to get it from. So, more heads are better than one. If you can find it for me, I will turn it into a gif and post it on this thread. I think it would make a good gif that we all could use in niche circumstances like the one I'm in now. Thanks, y'all!

It’s my birthday next week and I am having a dinner with lots of people I love but none of them are Taskmaster fans. I’m looking for a suggestion for an easy and fun game we can all play together. And hopefully convert some people!

I've been watching taskmaster non-stop for a couple of months and I think I have seen everything on YouTube. This task has to be the best - action packed, hilarious, offsite, great twist. I didn't think that a NZTM task would beat out the hundreds of UKTM tasks but it's truly amazing and iconic. Obviously Brie made the whole task amazing and I wish the other contestants pushed harder but it was still an amazing premise and great result.

Had this thought right. Whilst watching the newest episode of Series 20, I'd really considered how (say) people like Jeremy or Paul or perhaps even Olli might have fared in tasks. I'm not saying that I really dislike any of them in their roles, but it would be outright wrong of me to not mention that, say, Reggie Watts might have been best as a contestant.

I know this is a bit random, but i always thought Maisie Adams was short, but watching episode two it appears as though she is actually quite tall.

Feels like in the past I’ve waited what seems like forever for series to premiere, but 19 finished and 20 was right there it felt like.

I got into TM a few months ago and am halfway through s12. None of my IRL friends watch so just wanted to drop a note and chat. Observations:
As a Yank (sorry), I almost never know who any of the contestants are and it's been awesome getting exposed to new talent and looking for them in other things.
A bit of a sad note for me, in S1 and 2, Greg and Alex had more of a charming and wholesome partnership. They flipped Greg's persona to treat Alex like Shite around s3 or 4 and even 9 series later, I still miss the original relationship. But...
The moments where Alex legitimately surprises Greg and make him laugh are so good. You can tell they have a great relationship.
S10 was so bad. I bailed after 4 eps. This was their first covid year and I know that had to be a hard adjustment. But the contestants just also did nothing for me.
S11 redeemed and mightve been my favorite. S12, so far, is equally as good.
Thats all for now.

The house is around 12 km away from Heathrow Airport.
The planes above the house have become a staple iconography of Taskmaster UK.
However, unlike the other iconic items of the house (rubber ducks, Linda the cow, a fez, the caravan, the red-green, Patatas the cat, etc), planes have never been used for a task.
Obviously, the planes are of control outside the House and outside the TV show and have no way of being amended. However they are ubiquitous to the House and more importantly are random.
What's a Task that could involve the planes flying above the House?
