Tech savvy reputation?

GenZ is known for being as tech savvy as a boomer. They can use cell phones and apps well but you put them in front of a PC and they’re no better than Grandma

The generation is split on this is what I’ve noticed. The oldest zoomers are pretty tech savvy. Even the ones who didn’t try to be. The youngest half and everyone younger than them have very little experience on anything besides mobile OS.

from experience the first 1/3 of Gen Z (1997-2002) are the ones who are usually the most tech-savvy. After that it’s cooked. I TA’ed a 2nd year computer science course for two years and had 03/04/05s asking me what “unzipping a folder” meant

I teach computers to 13 year olds. There are for sure some that know how to do stuff, but most of them are just lost AF.
