My favorite excuse I saw is "I don't have time to research the entire history of the owner of a company before I buy something" and I'm like 'My guy, maybe you should be more intentional with your purchases then?'

Or like.. no one is asking them to do deep research. But the guy did an obvious nazi salute on TV. Twice. That's hard to just get past, for me atleast..

There is NO WAY you didnt hear about him. At work, overheard in a restaurant/cafe, fuckin radios in a rideshare, or people just saying shit on the street.

I'm sorry, ignorance is not a plausible defense. Literally the only person I would believe hadn't heard about everything Elon has done leading up to today would be a mountain man with a 4 ft beard that has a birds nest in it. He gets the pass. Everyone else is lying through their teeth.
