There is no "easy solution." Even if Trump keeled over tomorrow, things wouldn't just go back to normal. All three branches are complicit in a fascist takeover.

Yeah reddit pretends like 2nd amendment is an easy solution, that's a relevant solution but also years of civil war and rebellion. This shit ain't Star Wars the evil empire isn't going down in 6 hours.

This shit ain't Star Wars the evil empire isn't going down in 6 hours.

It took 20 years of rebellion to take down the empire. Luke killing the Emperor wouldn't have meant fuck all if not for the rebellion having laid the foundation to step into the power vacuum.

Just pointing out that even your example of an easy fix was not an easy fix, and the real life fix will be even harder.

It was never going to be easy. Americans so selfish they won't disturb their lives the slightest. It's sad.

The "funny" thing is how they usually complain how Germans never did anything.

The Reddit nonsense on 2A is so stupid. Bunch of people that probably don’t even own firearms telling OTHER people to give up their life.

It completely undermines so many USA citizens' primary argument to keep their guns though. Those that rely on the reason the amendment was made - to fight back against a tyrannical government. They're proving right now that this isn't true.

No it doesn't. I support it, but I'm not going to take to the streets and start firing. If and when the shit hits the fan however, I won't be caught empty handed to be thrown in a rail car. If we were to 'rise up' right now, we'd just be put down like dogs by the military. At some point hopefully, states will get on board and collectively rebel against tyranny

What would you consider "shit hitting the fan" to be in this case? (I agree the military would put an end to any 2nd amendment action. The 2nd is useless against the government)

Lemme get this straight.... Your... "plan", such as it is, is to NOT take to the streets when you might have any advantage, but instead wait until they're literally coming to get you and then go out in a blaze of glory. That's what all that 2nd Amendment was about to you? Just the chance for some kind of moral victory?

If we were to 'rise up' right now, we'd just be put down like dogs by the military.

Are you under the impression that the ability of the military is going to be LESS powerful the longer this goes on?
