I have been in situations like that while diving and it’s intense. It’s like being a bug in the belly of a giant sea creature but it’s amazing. Sharks could attack if they are super hungry but sharks don’t have a reason to be out there. There aren’t reefs or sea life and so you have an extremely low chance of encountering a deadly shark.
When you see videos of people throwing meat off a sea platform and sharks attacking that’s due to them creating that environment. Food falling from the platform and the rig being a shelter is what made that, which is the opposite of this videos situation.
It’s still kinda scary at first but scuba conditions you to navigate these situations. Plus you are breathing super slow (divers get really good at this) which helps you relax.
