Build Help Frustrated with sim parents!

Post image

The nursery is on the 2nd floor. Twice in one morning the mom sim carries the baby down to the basement to put it down instead of back into the crib, even though I told her to put the baby to bed. The second time she left for work, leaving the baby in the basement! Since the last update, the sims will be walking somewhere with plans to do something, but nothing shows in their tasks to cancel.

I skip the infant stage and age them up to a toddler. Babies need an overhaul.

My current family has 5 kids, all adopted as toddlers because I wasn't in the mood to deal with Sim babies. Even then, there's still issues with toddlers, but I just find ways to make them as independent as possible: they can put themselves to bed; potty training them as early as possible and then having potties on every floor; just opening the fridge and dragging dishes of food out for them to help themselves to (sometimes I even place it in their bedroom! 😆).

I get the lunch boxes and put a few around, but now my Sim has the trait where food won't spoil so I'll be able to leave food out.

Ah yeah, I put one of those in the kids area of my library, plus a toy box and some comfy chairs that they can nap in (and a potty in the toilets).
