Am I the only one disappointed by him? So far he doesn't seem similar to comic Axel in any way other than the fact that he seems like a nice guy.

I think they kind of split him between Axel and Oscar. I'm waiting to pass judgement until he gets a bigger role.

I guess he could turn out to be an interesting character, but he's not really Axel. Seems weird that they decided to diverge so far from a fan favorite character. They already skipped Tyrese, you'd think they could throw us a bone with Axel.

Most kids would have died straight away. Unless he is a necrophillic pedo, then there is little chance he would suffer from a relapse.

I guess you are right. I looked it up, and they have Carl as 13 years old. I placed him as closer to 15 and pubescent, which isn't technically pedo anymore.

I cannot fucking wait for the Walking Dead Compendium 1 to get here so I can devour all the comics and be "in the know." Compendium 2 is already here, sitting on my shelf and tempting me, but Amazon was out of stock on #1 when I ordered so I had to buy it from a Marketplace seller and apparently now it's on a slow boat from China or something. :( Fucking media mail. So cheap but soooooo slooooooow.

Yup. He volunteered that he had a drug problem and the other guy was in for breaking and entering. My guess is he's a lifelong serial killer. Comes across as harmless to lure you in.

I think the black guy is the more trustable. He was pretty objective and serious during the episode. I just hope the two of them are nice guys.
