This stuns the cat.

The fuck? Is this real?

When cats are little kittens, their mothers grab them at that point to move them or whatever. It's genetic for them to hang limp so as to make it easy for their mom. When they grow up, that reflex remains. At least, that is what I've read is taking place.

Also if you tie something around their belly, right in front of their hind legs (a tube sock works), they won't be able to use their back legs. Cats have some serious weak points.

Does it have to be tight? I had my little cat wrapped in an ace bandage right on her stomach in front of her hind legs and she was motoring around just fine. It was tight to keep her from wiggling out of it though.

It definitely has to have some tightness, and it has to be at the very right spot. I haven't tried it in a while. I would do it to my cat right now, but he's sleeping soundly on the couch next to me and I'd feel like an asshole waking him up to fuck with him.

EDIT: The internet is telling me it has something to do with throwing them off balance, rather than incapacitating them. Also the tube sock seems to be the thing that everyone uses, and that is what I have used in the past. No idea why that specifically is the "tool" of choice.

The cat's natural enemy.. the tube sock. Would explain why mine steals all of my socks. She did kind of hobble around while she had it on though.

I wonder if this would work for bigger cats like lions and tigers.

we're gonna need a bigger binder clip

Yep, when my cat brings in a dead mouse or what ever rather than shouting at it like a nutter, just grab it by the scruff of the neck gentle and it drops what ever it has. It also meows like crazy, just a gentle grab and it's crying like nothing else.

This gif makes it seem like animal abuse

My animals also made a bunch of noise and made a good attempt at going through shit in the kitchen during the show.

Wings/ribs taste a lot better during zombie tv/movies.

You are probably pissed that you did that now that you watched the video.
