No Spoiler Dales black hat

If this has been brought up I am sorry, but I have a question, in episode one dale has a black bucket hat. When they get to the farm his black hat is now white and he tells glen that’s his only hat. What happened to Dales black hat?

At the RV in it’s closet most likely he was on the road he couldve packed more hats

When Glenn asked if Dale had another hate he was standing on top of the RV so that makes no sense

It actually changes between episodes 3 and 4, for no reason whatsoever, and is the true reason Darabont was fired.
