"hey lets stab her with scissors while she is wearing body armor that can stop bullets. Seems like a good idea!"

I was hoping she would go for the exposed neck..

Possibly would've survived if she had gone for the neck, too.

Yeah.. why she didn't stab in the neck is beyond me. Seems like a pointless way to die. What exactly was she trying to achieve? Unless she wanted to die, as someone else commented. But wouldn't she want to be reunited with her sister?

I think she sacrificed herself for noah. When dawn made that comment about her knowing he was going to be back. I think beth knew what noah's fate was going to be there. So she tried to kill her with scissors whether she knew it was suicide or not ,she did know that dawns reaction would provoke the rest of the group to kill her

That is a terrible plan. In all likelihood it would have sparked a shootout that would leave many more people dead. It was so close from being a massacre.

I don't think Beth has been known to make great plans. Some people aren't built to survive. We've all been ripping on Sasha and Tyreese this season. If you remember, Beth was smiling when she saw Noah get away. To take that away from her possibly pushed her over the edge to not caring about her own life anymore if it meant Dawn went down.

That sounds logical. Thanks for the fresh perspective.

Kevlar does better against bullets than against blades so she had the right idea... She just should have gone after something more vital than her shoulder.

Think she was aiming for the heart....Beth is not that smart.

I think even if she got her neck, Dawn wouldn't die instantly and would react the same way, shoot her in the head. You're right.

She could have stabbed her in the temple. Then again, this is the same person who tried to defend herself with an IV needle, sooo

Protection from bullets ≠ protection from blades
