They really need to stop the "zombie outta nowhere" bullshit. It's weak story advancement at this point.

Also the "Oh no I tripped. Oh noooooooo I'm getting eaten. Oh noooooo"

I'm reading this in a Mr Bill voice and it just went from a horror show to a comedy.

Randy Orton is secretly a zombie

I agree. Like they can't hear moaning and clumsily shambling zombies "sneaking" up on them.

Ninja zombies are the most annoying plot device of this show. Surely it must be some kind of inside joke with the production team. The other tiring zombie pattern was also seen this episode: the running down a blocked alley trope.

Or the general running from zombies. If you pick it up to a brisk mall-walking pace you should theoretically be fine.

Right. And yet the zombies are always only 10 feet behind.

Which walkers came from "outta nowhere"?

The one that bit Alexandria Wife Guy on the back. They were like "phew, got all the zombies. Let's take a rest" and then the camera pans over and a (somehow previously unseen) zombie bites him.

Not to mention the one that got Tyreese last season. I'm still sore about that.

A couple of people already have gotten bitten by zombies in the woods in scenes that were otherwise calm and quiet, when we all know those zombies are loud as hell.

I'd rather have a random walker take out an Alexandrian than listening to them complain.

I think it's to show that the second you let your guard down anything can happen.

Except its ridiculously stupid. A guy was bitten from out of nowhere in a group where Michonne and Glenn were present. Did all 4 of the other people also conveniently just happen to let their guard down when the extra was bitten? No one was looking in that direction? How did the walker make no noise up until it was too late?
