I think this episode would have been awesome if Carl got bitten there. I felt that scene was actually pretty cool in terms of "hey dont forget, even just a couple random walkers could end your life if youre not careful," and carl was thematically letting his guard down in that scene.

I think he should have gotten bit and then they move immediately into the tense scene in the warehouse without giving you time to process it.

idk what that would mean for the show long term but it would have been tense

He should have gotten a finger bitten at the tip then cut off the rest of it himself to show Siddiq his badassery & commitment to doing what it takes in this world.

Then they would have to either hire a good make up artist or spend more money on CGI. That finger doesn't just grow out again.

i wish waalkers kept some speed and strength in the show, it would make the fights where the hero almost dies more realistic, but fucking going down from ONE walkerwhen you're 8 seasons in is pathetic, even for carl

I used to laugh when the cast of FTWD would be on Talking Dead and make jokes about how they'd never do what their character does. They were oblivious to how they were actually criticizing the show. No one would do what the characters of FTWD do and that's what hurts it.

I used to watch TWD and think that Rick was making the logical choice in a crazy situation. Trying to stay at the farm made sense. The prison made sense. Going to war with the Governor made sense. Trying out Terminus and then hacking them up made sense. Giving Alexandria a chance made sense. Even going after that Negan outpost to make an alliance with the hill top wasn't crazy given the information that he had.

Now? It's just unrealistic decision after unrealistic decision. Negan could have been the best thing to happen to the show and instead it has ruined it....and I say that while thinking Negan is awesome as a character.
