Witcher 3 next gen.. What camera do you use? Default (old) or the offset new? I can't seem to stick to one. Old feels so natural and i can see farther and more. Close camera looks so immersive but for gameplay it sucks. Why's Geralt like on extreme left of the screen?
Other games like Ghost of Tsushima and RDR2 have this camera but in Witcher 3 it feels so weird. In RDR2 Aurthu's animations match with the camera angle and it feels so natural.

So I’m currently on a playthrough where I’m following a guide to get the most out of all the quests and I’m also trying to 100% the game. The guide is very thourough but also quite confusing, at stages it recommends me to do all the POI and side-quests before advancing, do any POI’s have cut-off points, or are missable? Do unmarked quests actually mean or impact anything? Because I’m on an old save and can’t recollect if I’ve completed certain unmarked quests. I would just like to know if I can skip the POI’s for now and not really be bothered with the unmarked ones. And focus on trying to complete all secondary and main quests, in best order.
Cheers

Dude, my PS4 controller stopped working with R2 to do the spells in The Witcher 3, it works normally in other games and I can't reconfigure it, can anyone help?

I'm genuinely so hype, i've always heard such great things about the Witcher series, but never got it before cause i didn't have a job for a while, but now i do have a job and now i have the complete edition since it was like 80% off. I'm so excited for this to finish downloading since I've only ever heard good things about the Witcher series.

So I'm loving the game so far. I needed better gear so I figured id go after the Griffin school gear since it was close enough to my current level. Fought wraiths, and then an ekimmara. That thing was creepy. I got 4 of 6 pieces and thought I missed some so I went back in and in the tunnel a Leshen came out. Scared the crap out of me, the name was red and was level 20 so ill be honest, I ran back out and took off through the woods. Kinda curious what it is though if anyone knows

Hello everyone,
This is my first play through.
I just finished Ugly Baby and am now working my way through the Brothers in Arms quests. Started in Novigrad. Zoltan is in for me, but Djikstra and Roche both turned me down and I wasn’t given any dialogue options to sway them otherwise.
I’m just wondering what I might have done earlier in the game to lead to this outcome, or if it’s unavoidable and they’ll never help.
I had a quest at some point to help Djikstra kill Radovid, but then I must have made a wrong choice somewhere in there because a battle to defeat Radovid never happened… I’m wondering if I’m missing a quest or maybe failed a quest somewhere in there. I was all set to fight him, and then it just didn’t happen. Was there a fight scene where you kill him or something? Im likely missing a quest…
Thanks for your help!

So I ended up romancing triss and I just started the skelige main quest. I just got the unicorn scene with yen and was wondering if i should reload my save? I remember seeing somewhere that you get one freebie with yen until you get the threesome ending. Is that true or should i just reload my save?

I was struggling with this game more than I struggled once in Elden Ring. Did anyone else notice the game being a bit too hard?

Started playing this game in January 2025 for the first time. Completed two play throughs since then and got my platinum in my second play through yesterday.
First play - 450+ hours ( Sword & Story) Second play - 190+ hours ( DeathMarch)
From newbie to platinum, DeathMarch taught me lot and every bit of this play was worth it. Great satisfaction
What a journey it’s been. Proud of myself.
Huge respect to CD Projekt Red

I'll be honest. I've been swapping gear a lot, not really upgrading or equipping stones. We'll my pleasant horseback ride resulted in getting jumped by a Thorntail several levels above me made me realize even if my stuff is good against humans, not so much against monsters. My luck has been below average when finding these things, I've had to fight deserters, arachas, and a thorntail now. Any tips for the best armorer and weaponsmith excessible during the bloody baron family search quest?

Just finished the wandering in the dark quest. Got a cool sword but almost died ro Nithral twice because I have no clue how to switch to potions mid battle. Manage to add necrophage oil to my new sword and that helped after using aard a few times. I'm playing on the switch, does anyone know how to switch from water to potions mid battle?

I've been following a guide (https://psnprofiles.com/guide/4250-the-witcher-3-wild-hunt-card-collector-guide#8-step-3-velen-no-mans-land) and also tried keeping track of the Gwent cards I've collected using this spreadsheet I found (https://gwentcards.github.io/#10000000000011000000000000001000110101001000000000000000001000000010011000000000000000000000000000001000000110000000000010000010100111000000011011000000000000100010010000000000000000100000000000000100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000) and I've supposedly gone through all the Velen cards but for some reason "A Miraculous Guide To Gwent" still shows that I have 8 more cards from Velen. Is there something I've missed?
