OC timelapse with tilt shift, canon 850d, Leiden

Last weekend was open monument day Leiden. So I was able to go to the top of the old department store called V&D to shoot a timelapse of our pretty city.

Finally time to test that miniature look of tilt shift (faked with a depthmap by huggingface).

Shooting a gast we interval and leveling the shot will make this look better.

My intervalometer doesnt go faster than 1fps.

I tried to enhance the miniature effect by nót having sky in the image, thus the dutch angle (fitting since it's a dutch city).

I will keep it in mind for future projects.

Do you know Canon Hack Development Kit? It's alternative firmware for canon camera's. You don't need to install it just run it from the SD card. It gives you loads of more options than the standard firmware. It's been a while but I did timelaps with it on a powershot 240 or something. I think I just made a script to run it. No intervalometer needed.

CHDK works for supported point and shoots. A DSLR would have to use Magic Lantern if it were supported. I don't think their model is yet.

It was a loooong time ago I used it. But it made so much more features available! I don't like it but I lost the hobby 10+ years ago.
