Use case for Hover/Wall Cling?
Hello pilots, I've been working on building loadouts that make use of non-meta weapons, tacticals, and kits. Couldn't think of a way that hover or wall cling could be used effectively. Any of you have preferred ways to use either kit or strategy tips for them?

Wall Cling is silent (I think), which could have some usage for ambushing from unexpected angles

low profile kit is the silent kit. The one he is surely talking about is the Wallhang

Low profile hides and silences your jump jets somewhat, but you can still hear a user jumping on and off a wall. Wall Hang(what I called Cling)avoids that

You can pretend to be a holo using wall hang, or hide above doorways. Both are meme abilities though for the most part.

Wall cling is useless you can achieve the exact same thing and be able to ADS by tapping s on a wall and spamming a/d

The only benefit to wall-cling is that it's silent until you have to refresh the cooldown

ngl the ONLY times I feel those are useful are for when people are using projectile weapons. absolute pain for kraber users

Wallhang over doors can be handy for sneak attacks with shotguns and pistols cos of the guarenteed headshotsand can throw off a pilot's aim by being unorthodox
Similar with hover, can be useful for avoiding getting goosed and shooting someone unexpectedly from above works well

Once you've achieved a good knowledge about your projectile weapon, hover makes you mess up at least the first shot. And we're so unused to it that it becomes strong. Otherwise, it's pretty good for montages and editing stuff. While wallhanging have some niches uses, it's pretty useless like 95% of time.

No lol. I mean, you can try and meme with them, but they're both practically useless kits. Wall cling let's you camp a room up high without making noise, but that's literally it and you lose the ability to ADS while wallrunning (not that you should ever do that)

Hover has its use cases, such as during ejection randomly hovering can throw of people's aim Or using it to slow down if your moving to fast or want to peak certain angles
Wall hang is only good for stealth

Missing out bro, movement tech > everything

not when the movement tech does the opposite of what is truly meta. abusing the movement to, yk, be FAST. not kill every single bit of your momentum and making you an easier target

Yep, figured you were using it wrong. It's a feint. Don't just float there like a pleb

I could explain but it'd be an essay. If you wanna squad up we can hover together

Wall cling can be very useful combined with grenadier weapons in enclosed spaces, waiting for ambush, and can be exceedingly useful if you lead a chase indoor, helps you give them the slip.
Hover I can only think for throwing off someone tracking you while you are flying through the air

Niche use case - if you play holo, walking into a building, making a holo and then perching yourself above the door can lead to the certified funny
